Printable Transparent Conductive Inks (PTCI)
Currently the market relies on Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) or orgacon as transparent conductive materials. However, ITO is a rare and expensive material and the manufacturing process for ITO deposition is very costly and wasteful. Orgacon is also problematic because of it's relative poor conductive properties compared to ITO.
Nth has developed a series of pattern printable Transparent Conductive Inksthat meets or exceeds the performance of ITO and orgacon at a fraction of the cost. With 80 – 90% transmissivity and 5-10 ohms per square resistivity, the Nth TC Ink is an ideal fit for products such as touch screens, membrane switches and EMI shielding.
